Overview: This project involved the removal and replacement of chilled water plant servicing of 122 heating and cooling fan coils in an existing 5-story medical office building. Work included the installation of a new large CHW plant on the roof, complete with chillers and condenser pumps and associated piping – which integrated into the building’s existing HVAC systems. Re-pipe of hot water boiler with new pump and associated piping was also accomplished. During the project, a temporary chiller plant was provided in order to maintain required building cooling. Fan coil replacements and all interior work was completed during off hours, so as to not disrupt the building occupants.
