Melinda Dicharry
Founder, CEO & President
Melinda Dicharry founded Paradigm Mechanical Corporation in 2010 with strong business principles and a desire to bring a higher standard of customer service to the construction industry. Her leadership, innovative thinking, and discipline ensure Paradigm is set apart from the rest. Today, Melinda continues to invest in the success of Paradigm through reliable partnerships with clients, engineers, designers, subcontractors, and vendors.
Prior to starting Paradigm, Melinda developed her strong work ethic growing up in an entrepreneurial environment, with her parents owning their own company for over 40 years. She then developed a love of the construction industry, working as the Controller for a large San Diego HVAC company. In that role, she gained experience in construction insurance, bonding, finance, consulting, and management.
Melinda has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a finance concentration and over 19 years of experience in the industry. She is also a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) and California licensed contractor (B) General Contractor and (C-20) HVAC.
Outside of the office, Melinda enjoys spending time at the beach, camping with her family, and is committed to volunteering in the community. She served as President of the San Diego Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) and as the Vice President of the Future Construction Leaders Foundation for two years. She is currently the President of the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Clubs of East County.
Laura Beezley
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Laura Beezley joined Paradigm in 2017, initially starting out as an Administrative Assistant at the front desk. Through her dedication and hard work, she ascended the ranks to now lead the sales team while also spearheading all Marketing and Business Development efforts. Known for her personable nature, Laura fosters enduring relationships with clients, driving the growth of our business. Her creative flair adds vibrancy to our team, particularly evident in her knack for organizing memorable events and company outings. Laura enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and camping with her husband and daughter outside of work.
Alejandra Varela
Mechanical projects Manager
Alejandra Varela has worked in the commercial construction industry for over 20 years. In 2018 she joined Paradigm as a Project Manager. Alejandra fully understands the project process from estimate to closeout and brings a strong commitment to excellence, professionalism and customer service to the role.
As a Project Manager, she oversees project planning, reviewing plans, handling change orders, inspections and commissioning. She is committed to ensuring jobs stay on schedule and in budget. Alejandra holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from UCSD.
In her free time, Alejandra enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to concerts, and hiking.
Eduardo Valle
Corporate Quality Control Manager
Eduardo Valle is an efficient, results-oriented leader with 10 years of experience in the construction industry. His career began in his hometown in Mexico and continued when he moved to San Diego in 2017 to be a Project Engineer for NAVFAC Projects. He is committed to ensuring that all our projects meet the required quality standards and are delivered promptly. In his free time, he enjoys hiking with his wife and dog and watching, and sometimes playing, soccer. His colleagues also consider him a really big foodie who enjoys exploring different cuisines.
Crystal Tidball
Accounting Manager
Crystal Tidball is a highly experienced accounting professional with a strong financial management and accounting operations background, spanning over 25 years across various industries such as government contracting and real estate development.
She began her career in San Diego as the Assistant Controller for a leading real estate developer, where she was responsible for overseeing construction job costing on significant projects like the Manchester Grand Hyatt 2nd Tower and The Fairmont Grand Del Mar. Following this, she dedicated more than ten years to the Navy ship repair industry in a Controller role.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Crystal enjoys desert camping, baseball games, wine tasting, and spending time with her family.
