Melinda Dicharry Honored by San Diego Business Journal

San Diego, Calif. January 29, 2014 — Paradigm Mechanical Corp., a woman-owned small business mechanical contracting company, Founder and CEO Melinda Dicharry was honored by the San Diego Business Journal as a finalist in both the Woman Who Means Business and Most Admired CEO competitions.

The 20th Annual Women Who Mean Business program honored women who have excelled in their professional lives as well as contributed to the vitality of the city’s cultural, education, arts, and social service institutions. Kathy Nelson of On Track Success Coaching nominated Dicharry for the honor.

The 7th Annual Most Admired CEOs program recognized San Diego’s most dynamic and innovative business leaders. Winners and finalists were selected based on guiding their company’s continued success through their vision, foresight, and tenacity. Teran Brededa, current president of NAWIC San Diego Chapter #21 and owner of Breceda Landscape nominated Dicharry for the CEO award.

Melinda Dicharry’s recognition was in part achieved by leading Paradigm Mechanical Corp. to report 1990 percent growth over its first three years in business. In addition, as a woman-owned business Paradigm Mechanical Corp. was ranked #21 on the 2013 San Diego Business Journal List – based on 2012 revenue. Dicharry is a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP). She serves as Board Member and is the 2013-2014 president-elect of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), San Diego Chapter #21.

Founded in 2010, Paradigm Mechanical Corp. works with building owners, tenants and general contractors in the design / build of mechanical systems for medical, laboratory, government, and industrial facilities in the Southern California region.
